UPDATE 2/11/21

We recently received our 501c3 nonprofit status and will soon be operating as HHH Equine Inc DBA Hand, Hoof and Heart. We are currently only accepting new students in our UNMOUNTED program while our new facility is under construction. Click on the "read more" button below for more details on changes we will be making within the program as we grow as a nonprofit.

At Hand, Hoof and Heart, our mission is to support people of all abilities towards maximizing mental, physical, emotional and educational growth through the use of animal and nature based programs.

Our Therapeutic Riding program is designed to support the improvement of physical, cognitive, social and emotional goals of riders with disabilities. Our lessons are taught by PATH certified riding instructors with extensive experience working with the special needs community and horses. We develop our lesson plans to meet each student's unique needs while also teaching the sport of horseback riding. Our students are also able to participate in our summer camps and horse shows.

Not your run of the mill lesson program! We set ourselves apart from the rest by not putting an emphasis on competition and focus more on building a strong sense of horsemanship in our riders. We offer instructors with the ability to teach complete beginners to advanced levels of riding. Our lesson program is designed to encourage our students to create their own goals within the barn and develop a sense of self-awareness, independence and responsibility.

At this time, we will not be hosting camps for Summer 2021 as our new facility is under construction. Any changes to these plans will be posted here and on our Facebook page.

Many have asked how they can help during this time. With your support, we can ensure that our program, horses and staff will be ready to welcome you back to the farm when we can open our doors again.

Sponsorships will help us to provide care for our horses for a week, two weeks or a month! Each sponsorship comes with a gift and a mention in our sponsor section.

If you would like to contribute to our program in a different way, we are planning to set up an account with our feed store for people to purchase specific items or make a monetary donation for any amount to go towards feed, first aid supplies and other daily care items. Contact Erin for more information.
