Neigh-borhood Pals
Hooves, horns, beaks and feathers. These little guys are the best at helping new friends become comfortable on the farm. Many of these animals are rescues and assist in teaching responsibility, compassion and kindness.

Petunia "LamBy" Lenore
In memory of our sweet angel
Lamby was rescued from a breeding farm in March 2022. Being a triplet, Lamby was rejected by her mother and came to live with us. Lamby was Erin's first bottle baby and was extremely special to all of us. Lamby passed away from a congenital heart defect on 8/28/23. She will always have a place in our hearts.

Honeysuckle
Katahdin Sheep
Honeysuckle was rescued from a breeding farm in June 2022. The breeding program shut down and put all their animals up for auction and we couldn't resist this sweet face. Honey came us to with overgrown hooves, walking on her knees, a bad case of coccidia and terrified of humans. Now she enjoys frolicking around and getting scratches from her friends.

Poppy
Katahdin Sheep
Poppy is a sweet girl who we rescued from a production farm as a baby. She and Honeysuckle can often be found hanging out with their best friend, Mochi the miniature horse, or lounging around the fans on a hot summer day.

Louise
Nigerian Dwarf Goat
Louise came to us from Hens, Hooves and Hares Franch with the intention of helping our program participants feel more comfortable on the farm. This sweet girl has lived up to her expectations and more, always being the first to welcome a new friend.

Betty
Nigerian Dwarf Goat
Betty also joined the farm with her sister, Louise, at only 8 weeks old. Betty has taken on the role of queen of the petting zoo as she patrols the herd with the help of her horns. Even with her horns, Betty has a way of showing new friends that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Herb
Rex Rabbit
Herb and his brother joined the farm in March 2023 as owner surrenders. Herb got his name from his super sweet and chill nature. Since their arrival, they have brought so much laughter and joy to the farm. Herb is especially great at making new friends feel at ease around small animals.

Radicchio
Rex Rabbit
Radicchio (ruh-dee-key-oh) earned his name as he is spunky, spicy and full of life. Much different (and fatter) than his calmer brother Herb, you can find Radicchio binking around the hutch, begging for cookies and making a huge mess! Both of our buns also enjoy venturing off the farm for visits.

Bruno
Vietnamese Potbelly Pig
Bruno joined the family in February 2023 as an owner surrender and he's been living a life of luxury since! This boy is one of the sweetest pigs you will ever meet. He loves belly rubs and will honk when he's happy. Bruno loves when people read to him so grab a book and sit down!

Chickens
Many breeds
There are 9 chickens to cuddle with on the farm! Chicken Carm, Zaxbys, Uno, Dos, Wanda, and the rest are yet to be named. Eggs are collected daily and sold to benefit the girls. We love to teach our visitors how to care for these little dinosaurs! Chicken Carm is now our resident rooster.

Alfie the danger pig
Vietnamese Potbelly Pig
Alfie is an 11 year old grumpy old man and was our founder's original PIG. He is one of the biggest reasons we ended up with our own farm. Alf is not technically part of the "neigh"borhood, but he is a part of our hearts. Alfie has earned the nickname "danger pig" and his most important rule is you can look, but don't touch.

Elvira
Vietnamese Potbelly Pig
Elvira is our resident "Mistress of the Dark," though don't worry, the only thing you have to be afraid of around her is having your food stolen! Elvira is always up for a belly scratch or a snooze in the shade, but she loves food more than anything else. She can often be found poking through the trash can, but at least she listens when we shoo her off!

Cricket
Donkey
Cricket joined the farm as a rescue in 2024 and now our days are filled with his delightful donkey brays. Cricket is a sensitive soul who reminds our students that it is okay to ask for personal space and gently teaches them to respect those boundaries. We are so glad to have him as an addition to our petting zoo.
