Here are the first steps to joining our program as a rider or a volunteer.
READY TO RIDE?
We are excited for your rider to join our program! Before you jump in the saddle, there are a few that steps you need to take in order to start your horseback riding lessons.
SCHEDULE YOUR FIRST LESSON
All new students are required to contact Erin directly in order to schedule their first lesson. This is for both our therapeutic horseback riding lessons and our general riding lessons. Erin can be reached by phone (404)983-5355 or by clicking the schedule now button below.
PAY FOR YOUR LESSON
Lesson payments must be submitted at the time of scheduling. Your lesson spot will not be confirmed until we have received payment. If your lesson is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Erin will contact you in order to reschedule. Payment can be submitted through paypal by clicking the button below. Online payments are also accepted through venmo - username handhoofheart.

Package of 5 - $275
COMPLETE YOUR PAPERWORK
All students participating in either our therapeutic or lesson program must have a rider packet and a program policies packet on file before being able to ride. Paperwork can be returned to us by email or can be brought with you to the farm for your first lesson.

We are excited that you are interested in joining our team! Here are a few steps you need to take before getting started with our program. Please note that we have two different training options which have been explained below.
SCHEDULE YOUR ORIENTATION
Orientations are designed for a group of volunteers that are interested in assisting with our lessons OR for volunteers that are only interested in helping out behind the scenes including grooming, daily chores, facility maintenance etc. Orientations must be scheduled by contacting Erin directly. SCHEDULE YOUR OBSERVATION LESSON
Observation lessons are designed for volunteers that are interested in assisting during our lessons. These trainings are open to one or two volunteers at a time. During an observation lesson, you'll get to experience a lesson in action, see the different roles our volunteers take on during the lessons and how our volunteers engage with our students. Please click on the button below to see our volunteer sign up sheet, choose three lessons that have a yellow box underneath that would work with your schedule then contact Erin at to confirm your training.
FILL OUT YOUR PAPERWORK
All volunteers must have a current volunteer packet on file with us before you are able to start working with our program. Once you have scheduled your orientation or observation lesson, please download our volunteer packet and return to us by email or by bringing with you to your training.
